Maldives hosts 5.8 Undersea, the world’s largest underwater restaurant
Resting on the seabed, it will be housed in the Hurawalhi Island Resort and will be named 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, in honor of the depth in meters to which it is submerged (for the Saxon metric system, 18 feet above the surface). It will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner services for 16 guests (20 if the celebration is a wedding). Turtles, sharks and manta rays will witness the culinary choices that the exclusive terrestrial neighbors make to Shannon Batten.
